The apex planet is under the greatest pressure, receiving the tension of both the opposition and the two squares simultaneously, and it represents both the primary point of challenge and the most potent area for growth and achievement. The T-Square is one of the most common major configurations and is strongly associated with drive, ambition, and the compulsion to accomplish. The missing fourth point of what would be a Grand Cross — the empty degree directly opposite the apex — points to a blind spot and often the area where balance must be consciously sought.
